Initially, small rice grain-sized white spots appear on certain parts of the fish's body, which then enlarge or become surrounded by redness. Scales may fall off, exposing the muscle tissue and forming ulcers, sometimes even revealing the bones. Affected fish often exhibit fin rot or tail rot. This condition is typically caused by water pollution, which leads to excessive bacterial growth and subsequent invasion of the fish's body.
(2) Preventive Measures:
Handle the fish gently to minimize physical injury.
(3) Treatment Methods:

Perform a medicated bath using 50 mg of chloramphenicol per liter of water. Continue the treatment daily for one week, after which the affected fish should recover.
