(1) Symptoms:
The affected fish develops grayish-white, cotton-like fungal hyphae on its body surface or fins. The tissue where the mycelium attaches becomes necrotic, with inflamed, congested, or ulcerated wounds.
(2) Prevention and Treatment Methods:

Avoid injuring the fish. Before overwintering, use medicated baths or apply treatments throughout the pond to eliminate parasites.

Apply a 5%–10% malachite green solution to the wounds, or bathe the fish in a malachite green solution at a concentration of 66×10⁻⁶ mg/L for 3–5 minutes.

Apply a mixed solution of 4%–5% salt and 4%–5% baking soda throughout the pond.
