(1) Symptoms:
Affected fish become emaciated and display extreme restlessness in the early stages, alternating between frantic swimming in the water and sharp lateral movements. They may also rub against aquatic plants or tank walls. As the condition worsens, the fish gradually lose weight, eventually leading to mass mortality.
(2) Preventive Measures:
Apply a crystalline trichlorfon solution at a concentration of 0.05×10⁻⁶ mg/L throughout the entire pond, and perform a water change after 12 hours.
(3) Treatment Methods:
  • Bathe the infected fish in a potassium permanganate solution at a concentration of 20×10⁻⁶ mg/L.
  • Apply a crystalline trichlorfon solution at a concentration of (0.2–0.4)×10⁻⁶ mg/L throughout the entire pond.
